Congressman Courtney Visits Hebron

The sun shone as Congressman Joe Courtney visited Hebron on March 30th to see the site where Church Street Commons will be built.

The federal department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) awarded the Town of Hebron $250,000 to renovate the former rectory building into two apartments as part of Church Street Commons.

On hand to thank Congressman Courtney were members of the Commons CDC Board of Directors (Rob Mangiafico, Ron Kolanowski, Betty Close, and Donna Jolly); Geoffrey Person, from development partner Grow America – formerly NDC; Kathy Dorgan of Dorgan Architecture & Planning, the project architect; Hebron Town Council chair Tiffany Thiele and council members Jan Lawrence and Claudia Riley; and Town Planner Matt Bordeaux.
