Commons CDC received an $850,000 grant from the Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB) of Boston toward the development of Church Street Commons, a mixed-income housing development to be built in Hebron, CT. Commons was one of three Connecticut projects funded by the FHLB of Boston this year (the other two are in Hartford and Salisbury). Many thanks to the FHLB and to Liberty Bank for being our banking partner on the application.
Cooperatively owned by New England financial institutions, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston provides wholesale funding and delivers other products and services to its member banks to help communities thrive.
